Where does the name Guangdong come from?

Guangdong is a providence of China.

Most importantly, the name provides a sense of comfort to Alice, Guangdong Chinese Restaurant's owner. During her first months preparing the restaurant for the opening under her name she was very homesick, in this state she decided upon naming the restaurant with the name of her beloved home.
